I managed to get our out of town packages in the mail on my lunch break today. I was very surprised to see that the line wasn't bad in the post office. I haven't actually mailed out gifts in years. I've become way too spoiled with Amazon and other online shopping outlets. Here's hoping that a Christmas miracle occurs and the gifts get there in time.

I scoured the office looking for a roll of packing tape, never found one. I have only myself to blame since I am the one that orders our office supplies, but the folks at the post office were nice enough to let me use their priority mail tape to seal the box instead of making me buy a roll of packing tape there for what I'm sure would have been an exorbitant price.

Anyway, gifts are on their way to the nieces in CA and my Mom in CT.

If I wasn't already working from home today, I think that I would have stayed home to avoid fighting the lunatics in this pile of white stuff.
